More than 75% of cancer patients experience pain at advanced stage of cancer. The experience of pain is influenced by physical, emotional, psychological, social and spiritual factors. Patients with advanced cancer disease have constant pain and require regular analgesia, therefore requiring regular pain assessment and management. Pain Clinic is supported by physician and palliative care nurse twice a week (Monday and Thursday). Detailed history taking and pain assessment is done in pain clinic.
