Message from the Department
Welcome to the Department of Surgical Oncology at the Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center. Our department comprises 13 full-time surgeons and 14 visiting surgeons, managing a broad range of diseases from common general surgical procedures to highly complex procedures only done in specialized centers.
Our surgical units manage a comprehensive spectrum of cancer care with a multidisciplinary approach. We benefit from an enormously experienced faculty with wide-ranging expertise, working collaboratively with Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, Radiology, and Internal Medicine specialists.
Our mandate is to continuously contribute to improving the care of patients with surgical needs, structured in a programmatic approach to ensure the highest standards of treatment and patient outcomes.
