About:

• Kabita Maharzan is a PhD Student of Lincoln University College, Malaysia. She has completed Master Degree in Food and Nutrition and Bachelors in B.Edu. Health from Tribhuvan University. She is practicing clinical nutrition since 2009.
• She gained experiences of clinical nutrition as well as academic program in various institutes such as CWIN, Personal Care International, Council of Community Health Services, Diabetes, Thyroid and Endocrinology Care Center, B&B Nursing Institute, KHAMSON, Alka Nursing College. Her areas of interest are in Dietetics & Nutrition, Nutrition Research, Audit sector and  Therapeutic food service management.
• Likewise, she has been publishing articles related to nutrition in national/academic department journals, health magazine and news paper. Also, she has presented papers in SFO-N and various national programs. Her motto is “To establish Oncology Dietetics and Nutrition Hub in Nepal “. She believes in possibility of establishing good nutrition practices in the context of Nepal. Presently, she is leading Dietetics and Nutrition Unit at Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center.
