About
Dr Shrestha graduated from Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara. She completed her 1 year fellowship training (2018-2019) in Gastrointestinal pathology and cytopathology from Gangnam Severance Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medical Sciences, Seoul, Korea. Having worked as faculty at her residency alma mater for a year and half, she then joined the Department of Pathology at Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital, where she worked for more than two years. She was involved in signing out frozen sections and conducting various CMEs. She completed a fellowship rotation in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University’s Health Sciences Center, New Orleans, USA. She was also involved in training undergraduate and postgraduate program. She has attended and presented in several national and international scientific meetings.
