About

Dr. Pradhan is among the very few psychiatrists working in the field of psycho oncology. She completed her MBBS (2003-2008) and later MD (2014-2017) from Chongqing Medical University, China. Along with Clinical Psychiatry, she has extensive training in clinical psychology. She worked as consultant psychiatrist at Center for mental health(CMC Nepal) and Phect Nepal-Kathmandu Model Hospital for the past few years and now is devoting her time in focusing on mental health of cancer patients, their family and caregivers including the clinical staffs. Apart from clinical practice and counseling, she is also involved in clinical research and in providing training activities. She is also the founder of Mental health Cafe (est 2018), where people of all ages gather once a month to understand their own mental health needs, provide support to each other and therefore reduce stigma attached to mental health.
