About

Dr Prasai is one of the senior anesthesiologists of Nepal. She completed her MBBS from Sambalpur University, India (1986); DA from Institute of Medicine (IOM, Tribhuvan University), Nepal (1991); FRCA, Thailand (2003).

She has been working in this field for nearly 30 years. During this time, she gained her experience in institutes like Bir Hospital for 6 years; Institute of Medicine(IOM), Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) for 2 years; B.P Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital (BPKMCH) for 7 years as Head of Department and Initiator of Department of Anesthesia; Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital (Mumbai, India), University Hospital (kualalampur, Malaysia) and Nepal Medical College Teaching Hospital for 15 years at present. On an average, she conducts anesthesia in about 75-80 major cases and similar number of minor cases every month.
