Dr. Navin Bajracharya is an experienced Radiation Oncologist with over 3.5 years of clinical practice, having managed more than 200 cancer cases per week during his tenure at Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital (2017–2019). He completed his MBBS under Chittagong University (USTC, Bangladesh, 2006) and gained four years of clinical experience as a full-TIME house officer in Kathmandu before pursuing his post-graduation in Radiation Oncology at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center, Manila, Philippines (2012–2016). He further advanced his expertise through a clinical observership at Tata Memorial Center, Mumbai (2017) and an Oncology Fellowship Programme at The Institute of Cancer Research & The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, UK (2018). Dr. Bajracharya’s clinical expertise spans from Cobalt-60 teletherapy to modern Linear Accelerator (LINAC) technologies, including IGRT (Image-Guided Radiotherapy) and RapidArc, with special interest in brachytherapy and evidence-based radiotherapy research. He has contributed to several publications, including studies on CT-based intracavitary brachytherapy in cervical cancer and surface brachytherapy in skin cancer. Professionally, he is affiliated with the Nepal Medical Association (NMA), South Asian Federation of Oncologists–Nepal (SFO-N), NESTRO, the Association of Radiation Oncologists in India (AROI, Lifetime Member #LM-2819), and the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), reflecting his commitment to advancing cancer care both nationally and internationally.
