Dr. Jaiswal is recognized as one of the leading Oral Oncologists in Nepal, with over three years of experience as a cancer surgeon. He completed his BDS (2006–2011) in Dhaka, Bangladesh, followed by an MS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (2013–2018) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University and Dhaka Medical College Hospital, Bangladesh. Notably, he is the only Maxillofacial Surgeon practicing Head and Neck Oncology in a Cancer Institute in Nepal, making him a unique contributor to the field. Currently, Dr. Jaiswal serves as a Registrar in the Head and Neck Oncology Department at Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center (NCHRC), where he is also responsible for overseeing the Dental Department. As a dedicated team member of the Head and Neck Oncology Unit, he has been involved in more than 1,000 major surgeries at NCHRC. He is actively engaged in academic and clinical discussions, frequently presenting at national medical conferences and seminars in Nepal. His special interests include oral oncology, head and neck oncology with reconstructive surgery, facial cosmetic and plastic surgery, oral and dental pathologies, and orthognathic jaw surgery. He emphasizes evidence-based practice with a multimodality approach, valuing multidisciplinary teamwork to achieve the best outcomes for his patients. Guided by the motto, “To treat my patient as I would want myself to be treated and care with passion”, Dr. Jaiswal combines compassion with technology-driven approaches to deliver the highest standard of quality care. He has also contributed to academic research, including the publication “Quality of Life of Oral Cancer Patients after Surgery and Post-Operative Radiotherapy” (Bangladesh Oral Cancer Journal, Volume 1, Issue 1, 2019). His professional affiliations include membership in NMC, NMA, NDA, NAOMS, AAOMS, and IAOMS, reflecting his active participation in both national and international medical communities.
