Dr. Shakya is a highly skilled Breast Oncoplastic Surgeon with extensive expertise and international recognition in the field of breast cancer surgery. He began his academic career as a Lecturer at Patan Hospital, where he worked until June 2016. Driven by his passion for advancing breast cancer care, he pursued a fellowship in Breast Oncoplastic Surgery at the prestigious TATA Medical Center, India, one of Asia’s leading cancer institutes. In 2018, he achieved another remarkable milestone by completing advanced training in Lille, France, becoming the first and only Nepali doctor to be a fellow of the European Board of Breast Surgery, a distinction that underscores his dedication and excellence in this subspecialty. As a dedicated breast cancer specialist, Dr. Shakya is deeply committed to patient-centered care, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and tailored treatment plans.
