MEET OUR EXPERT

Dr. Shrestha graduated from Manipal College of Medical Sciences, Pokhara, and pursued a one-year fellowship training (2018–2019) in Gastrointestinal Pathology and Cytopathology at Gangnam Severance Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medical Sciences, Seoul, Korea. After serving as a faculty member at her residency alma mater for one and a half years, she joined the Department of Pathology at Dhulikhel Hospital, Kathmandu University Hospital, where she worked for over two years. During this TIME, she was involved in signing out frozen sections and conducting various CMEs. She later completed a fellowship rotation in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University’s Health Sciences Center, New Orleans, USA, where she was also engaged in training undergraduate and postgraduate students. In addition, she has actively participated in several national and international scientific meetings, presenting her work on multiple occasions. She has numerous publications in indexed journals and holds professional memberships with the United States Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP), the International Association of Pathology (IAP), and the Association of Clinical Pathologists of Nepal (ACPN).
