Dr Joshi has been providing services in the field of uro-oncology and urology in Nepal. He has been performing radical surgery for bladder, prostate, kidney, penile, testicular cancers and endoscopic surgeries like TURP, TURBT in NCHRC. Till date, he has performed as many as 40 patients who underwent radical cysto-prostatectomy(RCP) with 15 neo-bladder for urinary bladder cancer, 10 radical prostatectomy for prostate cancer, several penectomy with Inguinal Lymph Node Dissection(ILND) for penile cancers, retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy for testicular cancers, TURP for enlarged prostate and TURBT for bladder cancers. He started bipolar TURP/TURBT and flexible ureteroscopy for the diagnosis of TCC of urinary tract which has helped in diagnosis of suspicious cancers. This has increased the efficiency and standard care in the field of uro-oncology in NCHRC.
