Palliative care derived from the Latin word “pallium” means “cloak” and “cover”.in palliative care symptoms are closed with treatment whose primary aim is to promote comfort and easiness.

Spectrum of palliative care

Hospital based palliative care: palliative care unit is started  by specialized nurses and doctors where best possible quality of life is achieved  through holistic care considering spiritual and  psychosocial aspect.

Home based palliative care: home based palliative care is provided through expert nurses and doctors.
